WHY SHY AWAY FROM INDIAN CRICKET,MR. GAVASKAR ?
by damodaran mohan on Oct 21, 2010 05:20 PM

I have always wondered why is it that S/Gavaskar more interested in advising or writing about teams other than Indian side ? His columns are more about Pakistan,Australia,SA,Bangldesh etc. rather than about strengths and weaknesses of Indian cricketers and Indian team.Should he not contribute more for improvement of Indian cricket ?Is it I AM SAFE ATTITUDE (IAS)?

Tough for Aussies
by sundu raman on Oct 21, 2010 08:15 AM

Swann the English spinner will make a huge difference in the ensuing Ashes series. Australia will have to get Siddle and johnson with Steven Smith rather than Hauritz. Sunny is right on target.

Young India Win...

Time to Retire Sachin ...

Please retire before the world cup so that all these players can think of their own just the way they did when we won the T20 World cup...

SAchin should keep playing only TEst matches.

Come on guys ,.... Let's raise a voice and ask sachin to retire...

He has not played any ODI since FEB 2010...

Our selectors count the number of rediff message board posts calling for Sachin's retirement. For every 1000 such posts received, Sachin's retirement age goes up by 1 year. Based on the present rate of "Sachin retire" posts, Sachin can continue until he is 50!

So HAIL

When did we win the T20 World Cup last?

Why do you NOT want Sachin in World Cup 2011?

Why do you want Sachin in Test matches?

Why do you think Young India cannot score a double ton in ODIs?

What's your point he has not played ODI since Feb 2010?

Except few everybody wants Sachin to retire but he will play till 2015 world cup.
When people like Gavaskar, Vishwanath, Mohinder played till age of 38 to 40 years, then why can't Tendulkar play till the age of 42?

You guys are just idiots. Everytime India wins a match with a new team , its the same story youpitc Retire old players. Everytime India Loses - you are the very same guys who want him back. Records and Averages dont lie. If he's even 40 yearly avg in onedayers and 40 in tests, I dont care how old he is. He'll still be better than 80% of the Batsmen in the line up. Incidentally - This year - He's the better than the best and showed you guys almost every time how to dig a hole and bury yourself.
