Because Tendulkar is strongest characters on the field or off the field, he is one of the strongest batsmen.

Tendulkar even though a great batsman was a lousy captain. Sachin is one of the most losing captains in history. Dhoni on the other hand is a very good captain but a mediocre batsman in tests.

strange definition of a mediocre batsman. dhoni who has a career average of 40 plus runs and 50 plus when he is captain, that too coming at no. 7 position- when before him there come 6 world class batsmen!

very true. yhis arrogant talented punter should know that it was not he who has won games for australia (as captain) but it was bcos of men likr Mcgrath, Warne, Hayden etc.Richard Hadlee had rightly said that the great Australian side can be lead to victory even if it is led by his nanny.

The only person worth his place in the team is Shane Watsom,but he is too young and could affect his career.
