dnt underestimate jadeja, by nxt year he wl break all the records of sachin , kapil, kumble n sehvag. many many thnx to honourable selectors who recognized this hidden talent. he is born for a specific mission :)

Irfan's batting is OK, problem is his bowling. He can be called a fast spinner or a slow medium bowler at best.
Wonder, what's it they want to extract from jadeja? Either of Pathan brother would do much better than this Jadeja! They will be playing WC in India or say in subcontinent and yusuf Pathan (if talking about a spin all rounder) will be a better option! Of course, we'll have yuvi, Raina and Sehwag in the team who can bowl pretty well and specially in home conditions then why do we need Jadeja?

I fully agree with U. Some times U need to have a strong support in selection commitee than quality

"It gives the selectors a chance to test the youngsters, who have impressed at domestic level and in other forms of cricket" What a statement when an Allrounder like IRFAN PATHAN is not considered for selection

even more shocking when they didn't give Irfan a chance in Challanger trophy! Wonder if a player like Irfan (look at his record with this age) doesn't even deserve a place in top 33 (or even some 40, because Sachi, Dravid, Dhoni, Zaheer, Raina, gambhir ect, were not playing in CT) players?
very difficult for team India to win odi series against aus in the absence of sachin, sehwag, zaheer,gambhir n harbhajan. well gud luck to team India for this series.
