Sir Sachin tendulkar
by rajesh mago on Oct 13, 2010 12:20 AM  | Hide replies

If Garfield Sobers has been watching sachin since his induction as a baby boy cricketer,he should himself award Sachin as Sir Sachin Tendulkar, like once Donald Bradman invited him for the prolific trophy by his hands,we Indians are proud of his remarkable feat with abundance&composed energy he applies, salute to him.

Dr Rajesh Mago.

Sachin has already played a match winning knock in the 1st innings. Even if he does not bat well in the 2nd innings, he has done his job. The other 10 players also have to do their bit and not there just for sightseeing. Without his 214 in the first innings India would have already lost this match.

So Sehwag not for money nor records Then why he was so upset over a missed century after the noball incident even though India won the match. Why he continued to bat with Rahul Dravid in spite of rain and no result was evident in a test match about a few years ago. The continued to bat only to break an old test partnership record. But Shewang was out 5 runs short of the record and the play was abandoned at that moment. Dear friend try to be neutral. Don;t simply criticise

IFSACHIN COULD HAVE PLAYED LIKE THIS FIVE EARS BEFORE
by sitansu padhi on Oct 12, 2010 08:51 PM  | Hide replies

I HOPE AND ALL WILL AGREE WITH ME, THE WAY SACHIN IS PLAYING FOR THE LAST 1 N 2 YEARS, IF HE HAD PLAYED LIKE THIS 05 YEARS BEFORE, HE WOULD HAVE ATLEAST 75 CENTURIES IN BOTH FORMATS OF CRICKET AND INDIA WOULD HAVE ITS SECOND WORLD CUP IN ITS POCKET.

bad patches during any player's life is common... especially when they play for longer duration.
but its irrefutable that he is still the best batsman of India..

Umpiring was poor. Ponting was Plumb on 2 ocasions to Srishant. When the umpires are quick to refer to 3rd umpire for his no ball why did they not ask for his LBW appeal? may be they being fair skinned thought this to be 'unfair'?

Even the incompetant Kalmadi blames "white skin" for all the efficiency and refuses to accept that he did anything wrong! Time to start looking at our faults and stop seeing racism everywhere with our petty indian minds.

However, after completing his double ton, Tendulkar didn't last long. He became the victim of the day and gave Peter George his maiden Test wicket when he played on a delivery on to his stumps.

i am sure rediff will also say brian lara could not make any addition to his score after reaching 400 runs.

Lara scored 400, where the match was decided to be draw much before 5th day....
I think even England had put up healthy score then..
Here the result is still possible, and without sachin's knock, the series would have already been equal.

no actually, lara's 400 runined WI chance of getting a result. After the match, his team mates and WI greats and other cricketing greats critisized lara for going for the record, instead of the win
