Tall words from Johnson

His team just escaped gaining a slender lead 'cause Lakshman was in a difficult position. The aussies dont have players that play spin well on the last few days of the test. For this fellow to talk about victory is a joke. He will be thinking about avoiding defeat in the next day or two.

errr india would be batting on the 5th day. I think you completely overestimate india or underestimate aussies. They have a 23 run lead and do not have to bat on the 5th day.

You talk about spinners- this would have been fine had harbhajan been in good form or if we had kumble. since its neither, I do believe aussies have the edge

Come on TAlisman. Give me a break. It was becoase of some sloppy fielding that indians were able to get to this total. Dont forget that we are batting last and batting last in mohali is pretty difficult and we have not done this anytime.

Sachin- Please start to look from the team's point of view
by Rajan S on Oct 03, 2010 08:45 PM  | Hide replies

He has got close to 50 international centuries. But still, why is he is getting panic, while getting close to his centuires. It starts, when he gets in to 80's itself. If it was a man who is going to score his first century, then we could have justified it. But this is unacceptable. It means he is giving too much importance to that hundred, while he should have only looked at it from the team's point of view.

How many centuries have you scored Rajan? Most athletes even the greatest feel tension. If you are askign a human to not have emotion, perhaps, you should invent a cricket playing robot. Somehow I find it hard to take your advise seriously.

hamm...like what should he do?
any suggestion? I mean playing extra aggressive like Sehwag getting out on 99 while playing a rubbish shot? Boss..it was Tendulkar who held one end and made two crucial partnerships that put India in to a safe position before the late horrible show. He didn't play a rubbish shot and cricket is meant to be a bowler and batsman game. Sometimes you get out just like that. He had hit North 11 runs in his last over, mind it. So he was positive.
