Zaheer
by Dilip Mahanty on Oct 03, 2010 05:43 AM

Zaheer has an aggressive streak about him and he lets it out occasionally. Australians are past masters at sledging. They like to dish it out to others but hate it when retaliation comes.Ponting & Johnson are serial offenders. In every Test these two mouth off whether questioning umpires or niggling opposition. Most of the times they get off lightly specially if Chris Broad in the match referee. There is not much sympathy even in Australia for them if someone stands upto them.Contrasting Ponting to Usain Bolt is only a mild comment compared to some uttered by Aussies. Too much is being made out of a relatively mild comment!

god's words

What Harbhajan says is God's own words. They have to be true because He is speaking and when he speaks only the truth oozes out of his mouth. He may not be physically present there, but He is omnipresent and omniscient.

I think Indian players were not referring to Ponting , but to his mom's xxx as per the tradition in Chandigarh. So as such there was no reason for him to get upset.

for Indian Players to show some humility.

If Bhajji was not around - how does he know what exactly happened. Zaheer needs to go easy.

This is the greatest incident in the history of sports
by Azzrooddin on Oct 02, 2010 05:10 PM  | Hide replies

Let us note it in our diaries.

BTW, we should look into our own self. Are Tenlya, Laxaman, Dravid are getting young? I feel all four of them should retire now, along with that Sehwack.

BTW, I am not that great cricketer but the greatest fan of Azzu. What he did for Indian cricket and nation, will never be forgotten.

I am greatly impressed by this young lad, Ishant. Hope my mentor keeps on recommending his name for the team.
