Rubbish Statement !!
by richa on Oct 02, 2010 08:41 AM

That is the problem with the indian modern era team, too many comments in media, look at OJHA, Who was unable to take even one wicket and now he is commenting over the pressure on Australian Team and the more i was disappointing with the behaviour of Zaheer Khan after the dismissal of Australian Captain RICKY POINTING. Ricky was going to pavilion so silenty but zaheer was passing comments, then pointing came back, well it is really hard for me to understand, what was zaheer khan trying to say after the beautiful innings played by Ricky, look like it was the frustation shown by him and it looks like that indian players are very well aware with indian media thats the reason they are just doing all such foolish things and after that the more ridiculous thing was the media approach about that incident, they were encouraging Zaheer such attitude, thats really shameful in the game of CRICKET, Even i know many ones here in india, who will support zaheer khan only without analysing the mistake.

The new Harbhajan...
by Junior Shelly on Oct 02, 2010 12:46 AM  | Hide replies

This kid Ojha seems to be going the wrong way. Only the first day of the match is over, and the teams are evenly poised on a low and slow wicket which could prove increasingly difficult to bat on in the remaining days.
I think he is going the Harbhajan way. A good performance (no wickets though) and he has declared that the Aussies are under pressure. What a joke...!!!! I believe MS Dhoni and the other seniors of the team except would feel embarrassed by this. May be that, Ojha got a little too excited about his first press conference on behalf of the team.
Now actually the pressure is on him to perform tomorrow to back his verbal circus. Poor chap..!!

Nobody speaks whatever he thinks in press conferences. It will team management's version and ojha will only be representing them.

Trying to imitate the Aussies and getting into trouble..
by Manu Zach on Oct 01, 2010 11:25 PM  | Hide replies

It is no secret that the Aussies do sledge and they also know how to get away with that too. Zaheer tried to imitate the Aussies, but failed terribly and now he stands exposed - courtesy the TV cameras - before the whole world. That sledging would have made sense if Zaheer had got Ponting out on his own bowling rather than by a bad piece of judgement by the batsman.
The fact is that Indians don't know how to sledge. Had not been for the financial might of the BCCI, many of the current 'stars' might have got their careers ended by now.

Aussies has no moral right to talk about right spirit of the game, especially ponting. All the cricketing world knows it. But except for the asian teams, no others talk about it, infact they support the australians. I guess it is bcoz, its always the asian teams, which have to bear the brunt of thir ugly behaviour. So there is nothing wrong if we do the same to them
Infact rick ponting is an arrogant person and he always wants things to go in their favour while playing. If the opposition starts to take control of the game, he will somehow make some issues out of nothing. And such a person is talking about the spirit of the game. Its such an irony. If ponting was an asian, he would already have been penalised and suspended many times for bad behaviour

Its not that australians don't get caught in camera while sledging. There are different rules for different persons. That's all.

Yeah...that's why Harbhajan escaped punishment after racially abusing Symonds, and also Mark Benson and Steve Bucknor were thrown out in the middle of a series for a couple of wrong decisions due to BCCI interference. Indian cricket is full of hypocrites, and it sucks big time. Aceept it. It is a fact.

You should have born in australia. If u had supported any other team on moral grounds, it could have been appreciated. Steve Bucknor has a history of acting against india without going in to the details. And so iam sure majority of the indains, would have serious doubts about bucknor. Those decisions made by bucknor was crucial to the outcome of the match and infact the outcome or the series also.

Why distorting the facts. Whatever had happened in the past, in this match, Zaheer is the culprit. No question about that.
Do the Indian players have the moral right to talk about the spirit of the game. Bro, you just remember that many of our players have been punished for indecent behavior both on an off the field. So, better shout your mouth and accept the facts.

Yeah exactly .. once in sa, 7 or 8 indians were penalised and suspended i think , for over appealing, where in the same match, whatever the sa players did, wasn't even considered provoking. U go and find some clippings from the match, if u dont remember it

As long as there r double standards prevailing in the game, and as long as there r different rules for different players, there is no point in talking about moral rights. If u have a different opinion, u have it and i will stick on to mine. No need to shut my mouth as u dont hav any business in saying that. All is well with us as of now. So take care. All the best. Good Night and Sweet dreams

Ojha looks promising
by Rajan S on Oct 01, 2010 11:15 PM

For any bowling unit to be effective, they need a bowler who can bowl as micely as ojha did today. He has also got the ability to pick up wickets.Even if he out of form on a particular day, if he can bowl tight line and length, like today, then he will an ideal bowler in our attack

The current australian attack doesn't look threatening. Only michelle johnson is there, who can do something. If our batsmen doesn't do anything foolish, they should get a substantiable lead. But still, before that, we have to get all of them back in the pavilion in the first innings. Indians have in the past struggled to get tail enders out and i fear, that they may go on and get something near 340 or so.

Media Should Cry
by Naveen Madhu on Oct 01, 2010 09:37 PM  | Hide replies

It is rather strange that our media which usually crys....shouts...if Indian sport persons make a mistake are keeping silent at Pontings behaviour. Like australian media, they shout scream and shout at all actions made by Ponting and team.....to teach them a lesson if they can do in Australia..we can also do it in India.

These bloody firangies things they are very smart...forgeting the fact that long time back...black listed people from Asia where send to this Island (aussi) as a panishment...like kala panni. Even the aussi are white skinned still there on and off field...does not suits a civilised country/people.

So Team India is playing with them? BCCI is so eager to play with them that they are calling them every year to play in India.

The more you play with Pak, Srilanka, Australia, England, West Indies, South Africa, more complaints you will have against them.

So Team India should stop playing against these countries and there will be no compalints against them. Right?
