No,not by corrupt BCCI. It was by two politicians..Greg Chappell and Sachin..
This is most selfish move keeing in view the forthcoming IPL auction.We can not expect Dada to perform as per past potential since he is quite out of touch.

how can u tell...man he is DADA..even he plays at the age of 70 ..he can play better than youngster....
Dada is always loved by chennai people.Anxiously waiting to see him play at chennai (at not so famous ground -nationally).I think the cops will have a tough time to control the crowd at the pitch

This is a dream as Dada with age & less cricket more othe activities (TV serial etc) is bound to have less physical fitness & reflexes. However tru test is not in Ranji matches.-S.R.Banerjee

ranji matches are real test...every domestic test matches have bowlers and batsmen who give their best performance to be in indian team....so ranji cricket will be very good for DADA

Agree with u Sudip. For Dada, Ranji cricket will be similar to Test matches (also, in a recent interview, he has stated that Test cricket is real cricket, so going by the same analogy, Ranji should be good for him). He should also be able to get match-fit for the IPL (if he is selected).
