Australia has now been shown its rightful place!

Aussies are struggling against a 4th ranked English team on their own soil. And India had no prblem brushing them aside in the last few series. In fact even when Aussies where the so called invincibles, it was India that challenged them equally(2001,2004 etc). And what about Ponting? He wants to catch tendulkar but hes miles behind. Forget tendulkar, even vvs and dravid are miles ahead and in good form.Ex dravids 191 recently. Ponting should retire, and not let his ego take over. And you have who else? Hussey and katich who top scored are 35. So no young talent like raina, pujara, kohli, yusuf etc. Australias time is up, and now will be consistently around the 4-5 spot in the rankings...

@sandeep: this chap is either ignorant or stupid. Buddy... please don't forget that all the Indian victories in recent years were built on heavy contributions form players above 36 years of age. The so-called younger players with the exception of Raina (who has failed miserably in the just concluded series too) are hardly tried and tested at the highest level. Pujara has played just one match, and Kohli, Yusuf et. al haven't played even that much.
Above all, be mindful that you are talking about Australia. They have done it in the past.

LOL..Only siddle is below 30 in your list. Lost glory?? Its Indias turn to dominate, and with talent like raina, kohli, pujara, umesh, they are here to stay. Aussies can now get the satisfaction of beating teams like windies and bangla, while India goes for the bigger fish
