Cricket is a game which is tactical,played like chess with the right dose of aggression.A lot of patience is needed and its far more involving than sports like football. Every state has its strengths. KArnataka for instance is cricket, punjab its hockey,goa football etc. Kerala strength is athletics and they should stick to that. They have produced a few Asian class athletes(though none who can be called world class, as shown by 0 olympic medals). And leave games like cricket to the bigger advanced states.

Agree and going by your logic India should stick to Kabaddi since that is the only sport we have dominated for a lifetime. Kabaddi is out strength. Why try anything else since?
