Dhoni's luck continues Smith injured!!!!
by Nationalistic Patriot on Nov 24, 2010 05:19 PM  | Hide replies

Greame smith has a broken finger and he could miss South Africa's test series vs India. Dhoni is a great captain but he is also a lucky captain.

The Courage of Tailenders
by Ravi Kulkarni on Nov 24, 2010 04:55 PM  | Hide replies

Mr. Gavaskar should note that it is becuase of the tailender batting (and bowling) the match was won. Therefore, Sir you should stop mocking or taunting the batting technique of the tailendes in your commentry. For sure they do not have the technique of your level, but they have the passion, courage and determination to ensure India wins and does not lose the match.

rediff check the hattrick rules
by fdfdfdd fdfdf on Nov 24, 2010 02:53 PM  | Hide replies

You have mentioned ishant will be on a hat trick when he plays next match. Hattrick wil be considered if it is done in between two innings of that particular match and not two different matches.

Hat-trick means getting three wickets of three consecutive balls, never mind if that occurs in another over or another match.

i have a doubt about hattrick. if a bowler takes 2 wickets in a ODI match and then its called off due to rain. Next match he take another wicket of very first ball. will it be a hattrick? ?

Statistics of abandoned matches don't count. So it will not be a hattrick
