the bcci, always arranges home series hurriedly so that india stick to number one. no country would be interested to tour india so hurriedly like aus did..in the last 4 years, we have toured eng, wi, aus, sa and nz..we lost to sa and aus..how can we justify being number one..

we lost to aus and sa in their own backyard...am not talking about home series, which are tailor made for players like bhajji to score centuries..

sir, even bhajii can hit centuries.. then y don't NZ batsmen??? don't degrade our wins..
Congrats to Team India.done a great job. only they have to prove their worth , when they tour abroad. but India is one team , who can win anywhere in the world , which Australia was doing till last 2 years.

1983 WC victory changed Indian cricket forever. From Minnows we have grown Giants. We have tamed all other giants consistently whether in India or outside India.
Indi is No.1 in cricket today, thanks to all the filthy money flowing into nurturing this sport. More and more younsters are drawn into this game producing better quality cricketers.

But India has never won a test series in Aus or SA. This is also a bitter truth. May be we have drawn one or two series, but never won.

But as I remember, India beats Australia in Australia. Won World Cup in England. Won Bensen and Hedges cup again in Australia

Don't speak about ODIs or T20. Please check records, we have never won a test series in Aus or SA.

something is better than nothing. Australia and New Zealand became bheegi billi in India. Hisab barabar.
to have won this series 1-0. We could have easily lost 1-2. We have retained no. 1 spot in tests. But most of the series India played over last 2 years were in the sub-continent. Let us see how he performs in SA.

our apprehension may be true, but players have no fault in this case. It is upto the cricket management to prepare bouncy wickets in India also for good practice in advance.

Please check Dhoni's captaincy record in tests. No doubt he has taken India to no. 1 spot, but we should not forget that in the last 2 years after Dhoni has taken over from Anil Kumble as captain, India has not toured outside the sub-continent except for NZ.
