You can't equate Indian bowlers to Aussie bowlers!!
Indian bowlers fall way short of Aus legends!!
And importantly - even Bhajji is now where near to Warne in comparison - so leave alone equating our pace bowlers to Mc Grath and co.

Ashwin needs to be looked at seriously!!

all praise for Indian team for this win.i am unable to take it as a series win becos of NZ excellent performance in the last two tests.Luckily due to Laksman and Bhajji we didnt lose the earlier matches. With caution,I congratulate the Indian team.(Dhoni,Raina,Gambhir,Srisanth..You all have to perform in SA.)

Yes I agree. Dhoni is just lucky to win this NZ series. He would have lost it 2-1.

sachin
by koni on Nov 23, 2010 03:48 PM  | Hide replies

first 2 tests, sachin failed, india hardly drawn the match with superb batting of harbhajan. 3rd test, sachin got some decent score, india won the match, till one and half day to spare. when sachin scores good, most of the matches india won. the success of indian team depends on sachin's batting.

Gavaskar and Tailender Batting
by Ravi Kulkarni on Nov 23, 2010 03:45 PM  | Hide replies

I would like to congratulate Indian team for their convincing victory over New Zealand. Bhajji's batting was exceptional and it is a message to Great Gavaskar to avoid taunting or mocking about the batting of tailenders while giving the commentry. Even Ishant did quite well against Australia. Sir, I hope you are listening to this.

Karthik has been given plenty of chances, and has failed to impress.

Cannot see anyone replacing Dhoni (at least in the ODI format) in a hurry.
