Re: DHONI IS REAL WASTE TO TEAM INDIA

he is not contributing anything in batting,, sorry to say this we are seeing wat is true ability of dhoni,,
I fail to understand the reason why Dhoni is making Raul Dravid field at place other then slips. He would have reached 200 catches if he was fielding at slips. Im sure Dhoni must be feeling embarrased the way M.Vijay spilled a sitter on SreeSanth's bowling. ... Hope there is no politics here

There's nothing to wonder. Dravid had injured his finger, and hence didn't want to further the injury. There's no conspiracy here, and stop making up non-existent issues!

I completely agree with you.....No politics boss.....there is a straight forward reason

Yes, it is a wonder as to why Rahul is fielding elsewhere. Vijay is a butterfinger fielder who just cannot get the ball into his palms.
I do not know what has happened to Gautam Gambhir. At the moment, he seems to be a complete depressed man. Gautam please get inspiration from Sehwag your opening partner.

He looks out of sorts and unable to find the touch that made him such a hungry player for runs. He needs a break from the game for sometime to put him back into the game
Well done, Brendon! McCullum played a wonderful knock, and truly deserves all the applause he's getting. His reverse sweeps were such a joy to watch.
On an entirely different note, it was appalling captaincy from M.S. Dhoni. True, he's won us a lot of games with his captaincy, and batting alike, but that doesn't mean he can do what he pleases. The need of the hour was to set an attacking field, and hope that the NZ batsmen make a few mistakes, but no the field setting was way too defensive, and there was no way that the bowlers could apply pressure on the batsmen. #1 team in the world, you'd expect the captain, even with 1 bowler short to set some attacking fields, and get some wickets, at the cost of a few extra runs, but there seemed to have been no intent on part of either Dhoni, or the bowlers to take any wickets. Why should Indian spectators turn up in huge numbers to support the team, when there is lack of intent, and inspiration? I may sound slightly rude, and one-sided, but clearly there was a lack of intent, and obviously the Indian cricket team didn't play like the #1 team in the world! The pitch being flat is clearly not an excuse, Dhoni!

Same spectators like would have accused of giving away too many runs, if it had been attacking field. Did you forget.. it is Indian batting that is crucial in getting India the number 1 position and not the bowling. We should appreciate that inspite of being handicapped in bowling, Dhoni managed india to achieve #1 rank.

Very true.. Dhoni is never a good test captain.. He is good in limited overs.. In test u needs to attack the opposition with the field placing.. You might had observed many times dhoni continuing with the same defensive fielders even after losing few quick wickets. He spreads the fielder too much instead of bringing them closer to the batsman. Dhoni is being really lucky that he has got bunch of good players who are in good form.I would rate ganguly as more attacking test captain than dhoni..

All this disappointment in fans is due to the media hype. Who defined this series as "Domination" series? Is it ICC? No. The media have done this for their own gain. Newzealand have always been a good team and we should regard their game. "Mission Domination" is the not an apt term against a test playing nation like NewZealand. And they are proving it by their performance.

Yes, completely agree with you. Infact his insistance on young player is also not good. Look at the position of Yuvi, he and selectors has made. Infact he was not out of form, few chances would have definitly done world of good to his confidence when WC is approaching. I think dhoni is bit regid in applying his tacticts

Just imagine... you have 2 children - 1 very arrongant but extremely capable. 2 Very obedient and moderately capable. Whom would you like to deal with daily? Management is not about talent alone.
