Well, its interesting discussion started by some people here. But trust me and other experts changing test cricket will kill the game and is as simple as that.
To put it more in american slang a sport with certain restrictions would mostly bastardize the game. It'll no more be a Test match cricket where the players are tested for their skill, patience and endurance.
Any open ended team sport with restrictions will be more business oriented with vested interests. You can see whats happening with 20-20 already, which is not bad and is a good advertisement for sport. Lets leave Test cricket as-is.
Cricket is the game of glorious uncertainities, its game of culture. A football match in Europe or Americas or Africa is the same damn game but Cricket in Australia bouncy picthes, cricket in England with swinging conditions, cold and not to mention the puff and dust combined with spinning tracks in India, dead sri lankan pitches where teams score 1000 runs. Haha ha show me a sport which can challenge this diversity. You got to love the game to enjoy it. Drawn matches are not boring and the fact that WI scored 580 doesn't mean it'll end in Draw. In 2004 Aussie scored 550 and lost the match against India in Adelaide Oval.
gap in between 2 test minimum or start the days game with first ray of good light so that if light permits 140 overs per day is also possible. other wise make GREEN pitches which are bowler friendly not batsman frindly. pitches in indian subcontinent are grave yards to bowlers ?

sehwag is very very short temperred man like sage durvas who throws his wicket any time in world cup 2003 final he got run out on 83 he was last ray of hope of chasing 360 target set by punter. so there is full uncertainty that sehwag will give his wicket to any dam bolwer and that may be the reason why bookies prefer sehwag the most? it is dirty game bookies play when sehwag is at the crease?

either we can say one ball dot to him n the other ball he tries to hit the ball out of fence. he loses his patience as soon as he faces one dot ball. then he gives his wicket as a gift to the bowler.
