Wonder why most of us comment negatively against Sachin. All jerks (including me) in this forum, just watch with awe as there cricketers take centre stage, we could not do it, so we become critic and comment. Who the hell is bothered if India won when Sachin played good or not, come on its not individual game, it’s a team game, goes to show how much we want this person to live up to his no OUR image. So called Cricket maniac’s….

Ramesh dude! You are mistaken. They are not even Cricket maniacs. They are opportunists (similar to parasites) who usually utilize anything to bring down the image of a person. They are embodiments of pessimism, jealousy and all vices. These people who have a sense of negative criticize are non-achievers in their real lives and so are fed up with their own lives. And you can guess how hard it would have been on their family members to bear these creatures at home.

If an individual can stand out shining in this so called Team Game, then he is sumthing special.Ppl like u cant make a diff. in a Team game but he can and thts why ppl like him. I like to watch him because of all the batsman i hv watched there is sumthing diff. abt him, sumthing reg. his stance. His technique looks simple, his strokes are more stylish. Look at Micheal Clarke,Ricky,Jacque e.g. their stances and shots sumhw i cant distinguish w/o looking @ their face. But even if u dont show me Sachin's face nd show his pads,bat i can make out that yes this is sachin. Thats why he is special he is able to stand out in this team game.
Though i admit, i dont consider him to be God, come on guys God has better things to do then play cricket

Javed was a better player and won matches for Pakistan,Sachin played for records and never helped winning any match.He lost many matches trying to create records

Hey man, where r u from??? If a batsman/bowler is performing well, then his age is not a problem (whether it is 50 also) ...Sachin has played very well in WC's 1996 and 2003... In 2003, he only (also some good batting from Ganguly) led India to the finals...

I donno whether u saw WC 2003... Where India lost the league match to australia very poorly....After that, Sachin took more than 650 runs in the series.. with 2 hundreds and 2 90 scores (against Pak and SL without which Ind would have lost) and some 50 scores...Ganguly hit 3 hundreds in the series... Now, u tell,was Sachin a waste in that series?

If we watch itwill be observed that SACHIN is always flop when in Indian innings is in great crisis. He scored fluently when other team mates also score heavily and compiled a big score in the innings. He loves to score tons in the dead games where result is certain draw. But when crisis comes it is observed that Laxman always played best role to clinch the victory but he remained ignored by media and even by the country. Sachin at the age of nearly 40 has been playing with a greed to compile a huge score and make a world record. He loves to play for his own record and not for the country. As and when he was required to stay on the wicket to save the game, it is evident, that he got out at a very crucial moment leaving the country in deep trouble. He must leave the game and should allow other new blood to come in. ICC IS A CLEVER ORGANISATION. THEY KNOW INDIA IS THE RICHEST POWER IN CRICKET WORLD AT PRESENT. SO THEY DID NOT HESITATE TO MAKE SACHIN THEIR AMBASSADOR FOR 2011 WORLD CUP. BUT DO NOT FORGET HOW MANY GREATS BORN IN THE WORLD AND THEIR PERFORMANCE. true..Sachin doesnot deserve this.He is selfish and want to play to create a record of playing in 7 WCs.Selectors and BBCI will let him play till he is 50, at the cost of loosing the cups.

ask me, i am a rated chess player. chk Fide site. Chess is not popular. Do u really follow chess.? u should know that Kasparov, Carlsen , Rybka are better then Anand. Chess is not a popular public game as it gets boring to watch it. Man u dont like cricket, why to blame sachin for that. There r many ppl here who like cricket nd they hv the right 2 love Sachin.

vikrant, what subrata said is also true. in crisis sachin does not play well. and whenever he has played well you will find that many other players have also done well.
