Chucker or otherwise

800 wickets in Tests says a lot. How come no one questions Brett Lee, who had a very very suspect action early in his career and got many wickets then. Once he corrected his action, he started failing on a regular basis, as his pace went down. Way to go Murali- the critics and racists can say what they want. You are great.

It was a popular misconception back then to call Thommos action as that of a Jav thrower. In reality thommos action is a slinging type, not a javelin throw which is thrown with a bent elbow. Thommos elbow is completely straight throughout, which is the sling style.

Look up the Youtube Video that shows exactly how this guy has a naturally bent arm. They put his arm in a special cast that prevented him from straightening it, and he managed to bowl with the same spin. His spin came from his wrist and not his bent arm. It's a scientific fact. Bedi probably got upset with him sometime and published nonsense about Murali.

Thanks for the reference to the YouTube video guys. Viewing the video, does instill doubt in my mind about the long held belief that he was a chucker.
I am still not entirely convinced, but will conceded that there appears a case for the legitimacy of his action.
