The English seem to think that they are going to win this easily. The two teams are evenly matched so there is no guarantee which way it will go. Infact, its more pressure on England now because of all the talk. Aussies are still tough to beat in their own backyard. They should have gone about this like South Africa. Just say stuff like we'll do our best...blah blah...and then played. All this talk is gonna backfire on them. One bad day and you'll have the media blasting England (English media) and praising the Aussies. Infact, this has actually taken a bit of the pressure from the aussies. Not the right strategy.
"It is going to be a great, close and thrilling series"
Is this statement of a player or fixer??
No wonder warne got most of his wickets in non-spinning tracks of England.
This so called legend has been caught a couple of times with cocaine and marijuana, accepting bribe, adultery, and what not. He gives statements such as "there was no fixing in IPL" as if he is a bookie himself.
You know what? England is mecca of fixing, and cricket matches are called as fixtures there.

"Just wait until it starts. What is with the English lip? You that sure of winning? I am not sure," said another post from Warne. How many English players have been fixed, Mr. Warne??

Anything that does not involve our national Sahara Team is indeed full of fixing, sledging, cheating and all the choicest expletives we can imagine at the spur of the moment... This is proven time and again and has been the biggest reason why we have never been recognized as the Permanent Number One team in all forms of cricket since before cricket was invented.... ;-)
Kevin Peterson has got confidence and Kevin only stood like Wall in t20 final to wash Austrralian dream to grab first t20 crown. So if Paul Calingwood recollects form like Rahul Dravid then there will be tough time for Ricky?

It should be an interesting series, both teams look close with England having a better edge.
If Pieterson and Collingwood click with Strauss, then it will work out well for the Poms. KP is the key man. Their bowling key will be Anderson and Swann
But never write off Aussies, they have some good ones like Watson, North and if oldies like Ponting, Katich and Hussey click, they can be a handful..their bowling too looks quite good..Bollinger, Johnson, Siddle, all in all, it should be exicting Ashes.
