Indian team failed while chasing a target of 242 and made the lowest Innings total of 103 all out - which still stands as the lowest at Motera

The highest Innings total so far has been 583 for 7 declared by India against New Zealand in 2000 while the lowest team total in Test Matches at Sardar Patel stadium was made by India again against West Indies in 1983 - 103 all out.

There has been 12 century makers at Motera stadium in Ahmadabad with the highest by Rahul Dravid against New Zealand in 2003 when he carried his bat for almost 10 hours to make 222.

Sourav Ganguly again features in records at Sardar Patel stadium when we discuss the highest partnerships here in Test Matches. Saurav Ganguly and Sachin Tendulkar build a partnership of 281 against New Zealand in 1999 and that still remains the highest partnership record there.

The best bowling has been by former Indian left arm spinner - Venkatpathi Raju who picked up 11 for 125 in a 1993 test match against Sri Lanka.
Probably the greatest two Cricketers that India produced, who have left the game now, has their sweetest of memories attached to Sardar Patel Stadium in Gujarat . Sunil Gawaskar made his 10,000th run here while Kapil Dev took his 432nd wickets to over take richard hadlee's record for the most wickets by a bowler in Test matches.
so good luck for sachin to creat one more record as his counter parts made 173 & 104 so we pray god again tomorrow morning at 5 AM before sunrise for sachin to
