UDRS, why this urgency on part of bookie players?? may be it will help in fixing. Remember, umpires can be corrected but technology once gone wrong will be devastating, like our EVMs.
I mean umpires have been used for almost 100 years, let us continue with it; otherwise, start playing with bowling machines and batting machines; may be a computer game will do better.

I believe, this urgency is because of India being number one for quite a long time, which no one wants to digest.

:) So you mean to say that instead of giving wrong decisions just like that and "displace India from the #1 position", your fear-mongering theory predicts that the villains are planning to show the world endless replays on UDRS and THEN give wrong decisions?? Hmmmmm... your message is the height of paranoia... :)
UDRS is a complement to the three umpires to minimize bad umpiring decisions.
Full credit to Virender Sehwag who has become first Indian cricketer to give thumbs up to the system.
And the most afraid is Sachin Tendulkar who has been taking advantage of umpiring decisions for the last 3 years to make centuries. I was watching highlights of a recent match in Srilanka. He had nicked a delivery and was caught behind at 4 but umpire Simon Taufel judged Not out. He went out to make a double century. Then why he would support UDRS.
What is wrong with the BCCI? If they (Kumble) couldn't use their chances well in one series it doesn't mean the system is not good. It's just about how cleverly or accurately they use it.

I feel that Indian players are not confident about using the technology well. Thats why they are against URDS

ok..but why only we are when rest of the teams are favoring it? Who they aren't using it's because of financial reasons.
