they are not contesting for the same post.. anilkumble for president of ksca srinath or dravid for secretary venky for member or add.secretary.. they are all in the same party
good that kumble, srinath, prasad, dravid desire to contest in karnataka state cricket association elections. surely they will do their bit to promote new cricket talents. they surely are courageous, unlike gavaskar, kapil dev and ravi shastri who are afraid to be selectors and/or coaches because of fear of failure, criticism and accusations of favouritism. i have no doubt sachin will also follow his illustrious idols, gavaskar, kapil dev and shastri's footsteps after his retirement and refrain from accepting the post of selector and/or coach and be content with commentary and writing highly paying columns in newspapers and magazines and websites. i dont think he has the courage, foresight and wisdom like vengsarkar, vishwanath, and srikkanth to participate actively and from the front in selecting new talents.
