Guys, you seem to have missed the whole point of the post.

The post was sarcastic, meant to tell people that English is not everything.

Guys, get some training in recognising sarcasm :-)

if you think I'm running for cover after your replies, please see my past posts about Sachin, Bhajji, Sehwag, Dravid or Ganguly and Kumble. They are all champs and doing their jobs well.

The problem with India and Bharat is people who are lucky, but not open-minded, rich but not responsible, clever but not wise.

Sachin shows everyone, by action, how life is to be lived and how to approach one's job or occupation.

Well, his personal life is not my business, but even that seems to be perfect from whatever the media reports.

Anyway, this was a good lesson for me.

People wont tolerate a word against Sachin, even one meant to praise him indirectly!

Well, I guess it is true devotion.

Something I am incapable of. :-)

devdutt, good that you got a dose of sachin fanatism. because i am sure you must have indulged in the same. you see thats what happens when anyone says anything against sachin, it automatically means that person is idiot, unworthy of living a human life, frustrated, unsuccessful, unloved, anti-indian, porki etc.

sachin basically has become a synonym for intolerance. he has been turned into a monster by his fanatics. he has become a jekyll and hyde type of character. everything that sachin says about the team and colleagues is taken as his modesty, but it is regarded as untruth, lie. if sachin says he alone cannot win matches, a team does it, people say it is his modesty they dont understand that it is the truth. when sachin defends indian team when it loses or supports his colleagues and makes statements like this team has more watch winners than any other indian team again it is taken as meaning something else than what sachin means, viz, that other players in the team are also matchwinners.

devdutt, even balasaheb thackeray had to admit defeat to sachin's popularity. when sachin said mumbai belongs to all indians you know what happened. forget whole country even mumbaikars did not support thackeray.

devdutt, in your post you say check your posts about sachin, sehwag, dravid, kumble ganguly, bhajji etc. that they are champs and doing their job well that means you must have praised them as well.

but devdutt do you realise that they are all senior players in the team. may i know what you have written about dhoni, yuvraj, kohli, raina, gambhir, praveenkumar, mishra, ojha etc.? they belong to the new generations and also have performed very well. have you praised them as well? do you understand how outstandingly they have performed in the limited chances that they have got? in these limited chances they have shown that they can perform as well as any senior player. but i think you must have also criticised these new players. if that is so then you deserved what you got. if you feel that posters have abused you and your honest and noble intentions and have been harsh and unfair to you, remember that you have done the same when anybody said anything against sachin relating to any other matter or praised the performances of these new players.

Devdutt, you say The problem with India and Bharat is people who are lucky, but not open-minded, rich but not responsible, clever but not wise.

devdutt, please remember the above sentence when you feel like criticising the new players or answering some post which writes something against sachin that you dont agree with or like.

I have software engineers ( BE,ME) working here who often struggle with words.

Also, Sachin started playing international cricket at the age of 16. How much importance do you expect him to provide to his education ? Either he sticks to becomming a better cricketeer or he concentrates on studies and ends up nowhere.

I don't expect you to understand this. You are the prime example of " WASTED EDUCATION"

crawl back to the worm hole from where you came from

Sunil Vaidya,

Am getting bored of your childish rants for attention.
I am fine where I am. I am doing what I want to do. I would say " nice try" , but your attempt doesn't even make it to that qualifying mark.

Kiddo , understand this " No amount of education can cure your disease. Maybe if they discover a way to perform brain transplant with a monkey, your IQ level will increase.

So sadly, till then you are stuck with this primitive thing with few bones inside that vaccum space you have in your head

It is unlikely that he will take that again. He even has refused it twice after that.
Let him play with cool head. That is beneficial for us isn't it?

Yes Sunil Vaidya and allow your d.a.d and grand.da.d to score the runs for team india right ?

Man, someone should have coached your m.o.m and d.a.d on producing non-re.tar.ded offsprings. Your burden on them would have neen nullified. So today there could have been 1 happy couple , had you not been born

What a shame, but hey , chin up. Not all is lost. If you find the courage to end your pathetic existance, your parents could enjoy whatever life they have ahead.

at least let them live in peace in their old age. you did not allow them a good peaceful life so far. this is your chance to redeem yourself. maybe after doing this you might get a place in heaven.

and sameer, my dad and grand dad are not needed to win the match for india. the present team without sachin is doing that very well, thank you.

remember, just in the last match against australia we chased the total of 290 comfortably, thanks to the absence of sachin.

sachin should score atleast 300 325 in this series to make close to 14600 test runs with 2 100s in this series if possible to make it 51 100s else atleast 50 100s he should make in this series @57.25 AVG.. then it will be easier for him to go past 15000 in the middle of the next year july when he will be playing in england.. like to see him playing test cricket atleast close to 2 yrs from now on, if not more.. if possible go for 16000 or close to it.. with around 55 100s in 2012
