BCCI is not a corporate body, but a social/sports society, and as such should be registered under the Societies Registration Act. It should submit its memorandum of association and by-laws with the Registrar of Societies, not to be confused with the Registrar of Companies. Infact all Trusts and Foundations should also be registered. They should submit their Annual Reports, and names of the office bearers whenever there is a change. Make BCCI more accountable to the public and not a money making mill.
Almost 70% of Indians are Cricket fans and Congress will stand to loose if they ammed the law pertaining to BCCI. They should only investigate the IPL issue and bring the culprits to book.
