Boycott the wife beater!!
by Raj on May 31, 2010 04:48 PM  | Hide replies

Boycott is well famous in criminal circles in UK for beating his wife - may be thats the job he has ever done well - about time the world Boycotted Mr Boycott and ban him from commentating indeed ban any commentator with negative views about the opposition team. Supporting your own team is one thing, having a chip on the bone about ETHNIC opposition, totally against the spirit of any game!!

boycott comments what he observes...certainly bangla never progressed in test cricket till today....couple of sparking wins in 1 dayers..that's it.....they have to play like a unit, not sparkling individual performences ......they have to take it as a challenge and paly like a test unit to show their real potential at international test stage....then people will respect them

Totally agree with Boycott..!!!
by Rakesh Shankar on May 31, 2010 04:39 PM  | Hide replies

Totally agree with Boycott. he didnt say anything wrong....Bangla has not won a single test against a test playing nation on nearly 10 years of its debue. Leave aside winnig, they have not even improved. A centuary sometimes in a blue moon is not going to do any good for the banglas...atleat, they should learn to compete. In this test, yes they are competing but sad that they will again loose. Rspect and criticism are two different things Mr. Tamim. nd by the way, he didnt criticised you, he just opened his mouth to vomit truth. And truth is that it was ICC's big blunder to give BD test status prematurely. And we know that prematurely borm babis are not always healthy. So, Good Luck!!!!

Rakesh ,

Look at India . How many times they took to gather their first test win.

Yes It is true Bangladesh has got test status early. But there is no denial that this Bangladesh team is improving leaps and bound. T20 world cup is the biggest example of it. Very Few team could able to give heard time Aussies. BD was among them. Some players like Captain Sakib, Tamim , Alok Kapali and Ashraful have their class. It is fact that this time is no far while Bangladesh and Sri Lanka will be in front seat and India and Pakistan will be in back seat for the performance. Pakistan is gradually going to ICU. Just show me substitute of Tendulkar, Gangul, Dravid and Laxman in green top surface.

first of all 20-20 is not true cricket.....it's the test cricket that's the ultimate....since bangla is getting so much of cricketing inputs frm subcontinent it should not take them too long to achieve the "test playing" team at the international level.....it's progress is not up to the mark till today...

You really are into pipe dreams...Ashraful and company have been there for some time now and have not done anything great so far. Unless BD implements a good domestic version of the long form of the game, their batsmen and bowlers will continue to perform like shooting stars...there today-gone tomorrow. Why only Boycott, everyone has said it before that BD does not deserve test cricket status. Same is the case with Zimbabwe despite having won the odd tests here and there
