Most of these players have done well playing on the flat easy paced wickets in India. The real proof of a good player is when they can handle good pace bowling on bouncy and spin friendly pitches. Take the case of Vijay, he was one of the best in IPL3 but look how he has done in true international matches. I think the choice of Yuvaraj purely on past performance, jadeja who did not play in IPL3 , yousuf whom many people like but who has time and again failed in Internationals, Kartik again on domestic performances was a big selection flaw. Likewise in the bowling Dept, Zaheer looked stale, jadeja was terrible and Chawla was just not good enough. Why did the selectors chose Chawla over Mishra or Ojha?
I strongly feel that the problem in the T20 World Championship was the team composition of the Indian Team. M/s Shrikanth & Co goofed up big time. All players who represent India are good at international level but the selectors have to be carefull in deciding the composition of the 15 members selected for the tournament. Mr Shrikanth plz stop promoting players from Tamil Nadu. We have much better players available in India then Vijay, Badrinath, Karthik etc etc. Dont forget you are the Chairman of the selection team of India & not Tamil Nadu.

very well said man, we represent india, not just any state. I agree with u that we need to flush this attitude of regionalism down the toilet. Not just in the feild of cricket but on the whole for INDIA to progress in any feild.
The reason behind India's failiure was wrong combination. absence of shewag and the most efective factor was Unable to face bouncy track. They look helpless sometimes. I not look any one confident shot(hook or pull)on a short pitch delievery by any Indian player. If U talk about Experience player or inform player DRAVID/TENDULKAR will be my guy's who were missedn in the WCT20 squad. Both Extremely experienced and were in very good form all over IPL. The all total Explation is that within new players who wear caps for Indian cricket,many players are not comfortable with short pitches. All the six delieveries sometimes they wait for a short delivery. Aussies are brilliant in finding weakness of other teams.(They may be have a commity who only find player weakness :)Now any team will like to check with a short delievery specially on those track which support fast bowling. So get ready players and work on ur weakness if want any sucess overseas.
selection of indian team is all shit......srikant is only for money and chenai....ooohh god when his lost day?? god pls shave indian cricket...kick tat ashwhole..........

dai fool, how many players he has selected from Chennai???? In 2006-2007, 50over world cup no body was there from chennai..... why not got world cup of 2006-2007? sachin was the part of team.... you shouldn't forget the past. Simply don't comment about chennai. Who has Ash whole everybody knows
Glad to see all the cricket fans on this forum are very tight lip about Yuvraj do we still believe he is a key player for team India. So think about the selectors what can they do about it I dnt see a single person saying that yuvraj is done he has past his prime bla bla bla. Every body is behind tendulkars a$$ to kick out. That guy is doing exceptionally well in both forms of game he is playing for the country. So are the selectors they cant make bold moves just like every one of us. So dont blame anybody this is just centuries old mentality which cannot be cured that easy. U want to do well adapt an OZ way. I am not agree with two or three players left out I think half the team was selected on the past performances based. So dear selectors," be professionals not politicians"

You are right UV was selected on his past reputaton otherwise why anyone can select tired and unfit player in IPL.Again Y pathan was not send up the order then why are taking him in team and for that matter 8 batsmen team you are taking and playing defensive game great ...Anyway day by day these games ar becoming good for gambling .let us not watch with same passion emmosion country feel bla bla...
