Why do you even have to talk about retiring..Every time you talk about retiring its upsets me a lot and the whole week is gone.I guess whats gonna happen to Indian test cricket once Sachin(BOSS),Dravid(Wall),Laxman(Perfectionalist) retires from the game.Y is India not playing more test.We need more test then T20 and ODI.I think we should stop playing T20.

Dont worry, just keep all of us happy BCCI has arranged YET ANOTHER test series with Srilanka and we may even play 2 against Aussies and possibly a couple more against Bangla, until we loose the ranking to someone else and then once again start focusing on non-test games
i dont think it's the best innings he played...it's a fourth innings pitch....a typical indian batting pitch....no pace n bounce n movement.....england bowling that day wasnt a special one.....sehwag earlier belted their spinners to give a solid start.....later in the innings spinners did bowl badly...swann was not so experienced at that stage...totaly not a "special" innings frm sachin.....just an average one.....sehwag at the begining of the innings played a very special attacking innings that set indian victory and sachin and yuvraj completed it.....sachin played far far superior inningses than this one against much better high quality pace attack many times.....overall not a high quality hundred frm sachin..

He did not ask about which you as his fan or critic felt his best, but he was merely saying which one he thought was his best, and simply coz of the emotional reasons behind it.

we dont go by "emotional status" of a perticular player when he plays for a country.....we watch and enjoy players performance on a pitch....not his emotional quotiant or some thing else.....therefore emotional kind of a thing doesent exist behind a great performance....only skill and execution does matter.....in that context.....this is certainly not his best innings....everyone watched that innings, most of them dont agree with sachin's comment

what non-sense you talking b a s t e r d. Go and check stats, especially last two years you bl@@dy moron. Don't bash Tendulkar for nothing. You idiot good for nothing.
First of all ,sachin is not hungry for publicity .He has donated his money without any publicity like our Neta's who donate from government's treasury (like Mayavati ,Karunanidhi etc.) You may refer marathi newspaper who have accounted his social respaocibility. We indians are habitual of praising rising sun .Like other teammates ,he never faced any types of charges/blames.this is called 'sanskar'.

Our media has this habit of following the celebrities round the clock and reporting on their activities. Even Sania Mirza expressed her annoyance on a couple of occasions. Why blame Sachin? Whether you like it or not, he is good cricketer and a good human being and merely because some jealous people can't stand his fame, it doesn't alter the facts.
Ge was dropped at 0 and 43 in that innings. Such an innings can never be called the best. In the whole innings he struggled throughout and survived on mercy of England fielders. Sehwag had already made things very easy on the very first day.
Look at how Vishwanath and Vengsarkar had some of the best innings in Lords against all odds.

You never give up do you? Whatever he does, there are people like you to nit pick. He is entitled to call the innings as his best because he played in that match and he made that century, not arm chair critics like you who have no other work apart from criticising him day in and day out.

Fool He himself said IT was not about the match but the circumstance before that made the innings seem so

you are right pradeep...it was not about the match but the circumstance before that made the innings seem so
sachin has finally thought about the poor and suffering people. hope the cancer patients score a century under sachin's financial support... all the rich and black-money people should contribute in some way or the other to the upliftment of the needy
Re: cursade against cancer foundation
by SarvamKrishnarpanam on May 31, 2010 03:55 PM
that is a naive thought, upliftment of poor should not be done thro' donations and charity but by creating an equal play field for them and providing oppurtunities
