More power to Pawar
by Akash Nair on May 28, 2010 10:07 AM

Sharad Pawar is definitely a great choice to be the next ICC president. He is a very good all rounder. He looks round from every angle!

It has entirely to do with Howard. Howard showed himself to be contemptuous of many things especially non-white when he was PM. His accusations of Murali or Zimbabwe are just pointers of that. When India exploded nuclear devices in 1998, who do you think created the most stink and acted most rashly?

so what do u think he should do?? Lick everyone's asss so that they favour him later on?? He stood for only the right things..Australia is a signatory to the NPT..they will obviously oppose any country that thwarts the purpose of this treaty..

I think us Indians are so used to being smarmy, that we tend to oppose those who stand for whats ethicaly right..

The point you made here is not true, john howard as a prime minister has made several visits to israel (a country that never accepted the NPT and had always maintained opacity when talking about nuclear arsenal).... and howard had publicly praised israel's military and their right to defend at all costs more than once(i remember atleast one speech in 2007 by howard on his visit to israel)... so yeah please stop blabbering and being a jerk... i have nothing against howard's icc presidential candidature but to say that he is the most ethically correct person hahaha!! dude stop hallucinating... if u want i can give you more details on howard's not so ethical acts... and yeah plz dont generalize indians as if you know every indian citizen, its the most common mistake ppl make.... talk for yourself.

Reverse racism against Howard
by sreejit steve on May 27, 2010 09:45 PM  | Hide replies

Wow..this is a classic case of all the wrong-doers ganging up to oust a guy who stood up for what was right..Everyone knows that Murli is a chucker..The rules of the game were bent to accomodate his action..Zimbabwe is a country that witnesses the worst kind of dictatorship and human rights abuses..To criticize both Murli and Zimbabwe was a brave but not a very expedient act by Howard, who is an ardent cricket lover..Our very own Sharad Pawar has no cricketing background or credentials to even hold a BCCI post, leave alone ICC..This is nothing but reverse racism..
