keep it up pak selectors. U guys are better than modis and pawars. Not to mention Srikant and company. Another 10-15 years there will be nobody to watch cricket in India. Over dose killes the taste of anything.
If he is going to Captain a Test team then ICC must check their ability to beat Zim, Kenya and Ireland before allowing them to play with Major Teams. If Pak can't beat this 3 teams then They also should be degraded as Associate Team

He did not, but chewed them more than 100 times, maybe he loves the taste of the balls.
a good hitter if he meets the ball or once in few innings but is all a hype!! He's a terrific thinking bowler. He might be aggressive in tests, we have to see, but may not be shrewd like Imran etc.. Truth is that Pak do not have any good captain because some player or other will fight against some other player. Mohd Yousuf was totally let down by his team, otherwise he'd always be a better captain.
Neither this guy's batting average nor his bowling average is good in Test & ODI's. How come he is being made captain. I fail to unedrstand this. He may be good for T20 (gilli thanda) cricket. Pathetic decision. Afridi is an over hyped or highly over rated cricketer. Cannot play a patient innings in any form of cricket.

Even Clarke does not have a good avg in 20/20 so did Smith when he was made captain of SA.. not that i support Afridi, sometimes certain decsions can never be explained. Just like Raina has been made captain ahead of Kholi, agreed Raina's position is more secured in the ODI team, but Kholi has captained both at State, Junior and A level teams.
