because of lack of footwork...cant get right behind the line of the ball....they dont move their backfoot right behind the line of the ball....just stand n deliver dontwork....best example for foot work is dravid....delightfull to watch his footwork, so precise, good either on front or backfoot...that's the secrate to success against quality pace attack..
Gavasker scored 7/13 hundreds in windies against Marshall, holding,Roberts, garner and 4/7 hundreds in aus against Lillee and Thompson.Manjrekar too was successful in windies and pak.Tendulker scored 7 100s in Aus and 3 in South Africa. Likes of Vengsarker,Patil,Sardesai,Wadekar have shown great courage against fast bowling. So it is wrong to say Indians cannot face fst bowling. In India actors and politicians are from north, businessmen like Ambanis are mostly from gujarat and mathematicians, scientists are mostly from south. Just as a marathi can only become Ritesh Deshmukh or Amol Palekar and not Amitabh in Bollywood,a UP wala South Indian cannot become Gavasker or Tendulker. So leave cricket especially batting to Mumbai and Marathis.Rest should concentrate on things they are good at. Even Dravid is Marathi manoos settled in Bangalore.

come on dude! I am not a fan of gavaskar, he bats like a snail. But we have to give credit where it is due. Gavaskar is an excellent hook-player. He only played it when the conditions are perfect, but when he played it, it was textbook hook.
Since the last three years we have been playing against Sri Lanka, Sri Lanks and Sri Lanka cosistently! Again we are touring the neighbour country in July August for three test matches and 2 ODI series. What good that is going to do for Indian cricket? Rather they must play against and in Australia, South Africa and England. There should be atleast 4-5 test match series against one of them. But no! BCCI's schedule just sucks!
Y doesn't the worlds riches sporting body doesn't have their website of their own. Amazing that cricket india doesnt have its official website. Any thots abt this???

The decision makers are striking deals with potential IT companies. The cut-money is not being decided upon. Also the company to manage web advertising is not being able to meet the ask of cut-money from Sharad Pawar and company. Once these deals are finalized, the web site will be up and running in 2 weeks time. And we will praise the guy from BCCI as the most professional and IT savvy guy to have done it just like we did Modi.

Good question. The problem is that BCCI is good at ripping people off. The same is true of the Indian IT companies. They rip off their clients. So two entities that 'lagao chuna' to the public wont work well together !
Stop watching this stupid players. our indian cricket players have become adament, but for me they are just buffons, filled with regionalism and politics.

You youngsters may not know or remember, decades ago a commettee was appointed to sort out this problem of our players in a pace friendly and bouncy pitch. The committee recommended to alter our pitches to make them bouncy and pace friendly. The recommendation was outrightly rejected and thrown in dust bin by our board of cricket control/ because those controllers do not know the difference between hockey stick and cricket bat.
But Do you know who headed that committee !!!!!!! Our selector Mr.Srikkant only......!!!
