but who is encouraging our Indian cricketers to be arrogant???? of course media and BCCI. Look at aussies how they sacked great Symo for a single incident and here the whole team indulges in pub and no one bothers. May be for a better cause.

Ignorance or stupidity
by vsgiri on May 15, 2010 05:38 AM

We have to accept that others are also there to prove their mettle. There is no use blaming the team selection. I still remember that when Dravid knowing our bowling weakness did not enforce follow on against Eng. in England as we were already 1-0 ahead, the entire media cried fowl. In fact he was proved correct as we lost four quick wickets in the second knock even while ahead by 200 runs.Dravid saved that match for India.

India didn't make it to semi-final of world cup T-20 ckt
by Suresh Babu on May 15, 2010 04:15 AM  | Hide replies

Most of the Indian players were not dedicated enough to play for the country. They were interested in cashing out money in IPL but not to win the WORLD CUP T-20.

When most of the players are busy in their night life @ pubs how can we expect them to win!!! Shame on them. No patriotism, no commitment and no dedication.

Atleast now on, we should encourage other games in India.

I agree with Suresh and he is right on the money about Indian players not being dedicated enough to play for the country. They should learn and lesson or two from the Aussies. Look at Mike Hussey and he is 35 yet way fitter than any of younger players like Rohit Sharma or Yuvraj. The problem is these guys in India think they are stars after one or 2 knock against Zimbabwe and Bangladesh. They get commercials from stupid sponsors who cash in on their popularity. The fact is they are not even half good as the Aussies. That is champions stuff and dedication to one's country. If India was in the same situation, there is no way they would've won the game. Its the stupid Indian illeterate public, who treats these players as demi gods, when in fact they are very ordinary and mediocre. Maybe atleast now the Indian fans will wake up and realize that Indian team is a bunch of over-rated zombies, who only care about money and not the country.

BCCI is a club and they do not represent INDIA. This is what BCCI had already told court and their team should not be allowed to raise Indian flag at any international event.

Hats off to the champion team
by Me on May 15, 2010 02:39 AM

Mr.Gopakumar below has written about the 'arrogance of the Pakistan team'...Whom do you think are more arrogant - the Indian players or the Pakistani players? Everyone knows the truth..

Pakis played very well...they played fearlessly, unlike our players. The Aussies bowled only a handful of bouncers, may be because of the slowness of the pitch...the Pakis ducked under most of them, and Umar Akmal then hit one for a six...then we didn't see any more short balls...compare that to how Indians played the short ball..

But they were not good enough for the Aussies...Aussies are the champion team...in every match, when the chips are down, someone stands up and fights..today it was Cameron white and Mike Hussey...they deserved to win..their confidence is amazing...they needed just one run off the last two balls..any other team would have tried to tap the ball and run..Hussey wanted to show them who the masters are, and hit even that for a six..hats off to them, to their talent, dedication, confidence and loyalty to their national colors.

Arrogance? Dude, just because we are Indians, i don't think it is fair to call Oakistani team as arrogant. They played really well today which was a joy to watch. But Hussey !! one of the coolest innings under pressure...whaddaplaya !! Congrats Australia !
