Keep faith?
by India on May 15, 2010 02:50 AM

Keep faith in these jokers? Yeah right, they made crores in IPL. Now they have become rich and lazy with no incentive to sweat under the hot sun but only too keen to party at nights. Get rid of them all and give chance to untried players who are eager to play International cricket and prove their potential. No point in persisting with players who are lazy and unfit.

Financial Saturation-Main Cause
by siva kumar on May 14, 2010 04:03 PM  | Hide replies

Please Realise the fact that the players earn more and more money in IPL than in INdian Team.

They get booze, pretty women in IPL parties.

Even if they are discarded from the Indian team they can earn more money by just playing IPL,.
So why on earth they will bother to give their best win for India?

BY AND LARGE SACHIN IS RIGHT BUT....
by damodaran mohan on May 14, 2010 02:50 PM

As a legend and as a cricketing God of the country Sachin has made all the right noises in public. It cannot be that he is not aware of the slips by the BCCI,the selectors, coach, captain and the players and we can only hope he also suitably talks it over with all concerned in pvt. to correct things. While i agree we must repose our faith in the team however at least Dhoni's arrogant and can't care less attitude seen repeatedly in the ICC tournaments cannot be brushed aside. Putting your best foot forward and still losing is something can always be accepted and no body will point finger at you. But complacency, lack of focus, not learning, inexplicable arrogant decisions....are something which rankle more in the minds of fans and makes them feel cheated more than a genuine shortcomings in the middle. Yes, our batters did struggle against short balls and that did not happen overnight of which the captain was not aware !The worst part was, instead of best utilisation of available resources available he compounded the problems further for the batters and the specialist bowlers by his stubborn foolish decisions. We saw this happen in 2009 and again in 2010.Simply ridiculous.

Indians
by LG on May 14, 2010 12:09 PM  | Hide replies

Most of the Indians like mediocrity and encourage mediocrity.

That is why neither the Indian as Nation nor Team India.

Indian people do not lean unless it is too late. if Dhobi continue to be captain, I am sure we have no hope of winning 2011WC.

You may think I am Anti_Dhobi, but there are visible signs that Dhobi is Selfish and coward which is no suprise because he is a mediocre.

Visible Signs:
Coward---Only a coward will chose to field after selecting an extra batsman for a regular bowler

Selfish--bothering about his own reputation and brand, whenever opener give good start or we are playing on flat slow pitches, he promotes himself ahead of betters like Rohit, Raina, UV. But when we are in bad position or playing on good pitch, he hides behind those players.

I do not care what Sunny or any ex players or CNN IBN says. They most of the time say what they are paid for by PR companies this Mediocre Player.

Sachin did not defend Dhobi--watch his interview at NDTVsite
by LG on May 14, 2010 11:17 AM  | Hide replies

You are foolish enough to believe what is reported on Rediff. Rediff always distort the message.

Sachin has not defended Dhobi.

Sachin only said support Indian team, it did not mean T20 losers.

If you do not believe me
go to NDTV webpage, and watch Sachin interview, where he was speaking on cricket in general on and his life.

If you lying about Sachin, you ca easily lie about Kapil. Who cares what Ganguli says?
Stop spreading rumors. Dhobi has to go.
You are nothing but D-O-G of Dhobi.

First of all it's you who said Rediff is giving wrong report of Sachin's interview. Secondly I don't need any proof about Kapil and Ganguly because I heard them live yesterday.

Dhoni and Srikanth are responsible for the poor team selection...
by Sarah Shaikh on May 14, 2010 11:07 AM  | Hide replies

The Team selection was ridiculous!
I think that Irfan and Uthappa and even Dravid would have made a HUGE Difference to the existing squad!
To make matter worse, above three and even Ishant does not figure out in Zimbabwe tour. It will be a circus of Indian cricket there.
WE need at least THREE Individuals in selection panel and should be with the full consultation of the Coach. Captain's job is to manage the team he has been presented with!!!
Hope you all agree!!!
