why Irfan Pathan has not been selected for Zimbabwe tour,these kind of selector you have for international team.Greg Chappell he was labeled an all-rounder and often promoted in the batting order.then why you not give rest for M S Dhoni,out of form and captincy.no one remeber that dhoni has score plus 100 or win innings he need only IPL and ADV for his carrer.Dravid has good ability for captiancy. Irfan has got what it takes to make a comeback.
I think both deserve a place in all three formats of the game. Indian outfit looks different with both these deserving Players. I think both will shine out. It is not a matter of including them. It is a matter of changing the BCCI and bring in responsible ex-lot like Kapil,Mohinder,Bedi and all These guys are fair unlike the current lot. These two will bounce back....They have got this fighting attitude.
Team selection will become more and more unfair, because of IPL money. A player playing for India team will price much more than a player only playing Ranji. So the selectors will be partial and promote their kins. Irfan deserves place in test, one day and in T20. Poeple talk nonsense when say that he has to bowl fast. He should be in the team for batting only. I remember last south africa tour of India when Irfan top scored in 3 innings of the first class matches (more than drvaid, ganguly, sachin and others). But he was not included in the playing XI. So we know what happens...
I think it is the time for selectors to be more accountable and tell the real reason why Irfan and Robin Uttappa is not selected. Selectors needs to come out and tell what are the plans for each players

Definitely the selection is very partial and maybe Dhoni doesn't like Irfan otherwise why would he be out of the Indian team despite doing so well in the World T20 match against the WI when he bowled 2 overs for 9 runs and 1 wicket. After that Dhoni did not give him 2 more overs. The question is why? (though he was the best bowler in that match).After that he was out of the Indian side.Ridiculous
I was a huge fan of Irfan even beofre making in International debuet. But I think his concentration on batting killed his greatest asset swing bowling. A person who can swing bowl on dead pak pitches is not there. He should not be selected until he becomes a good bowler again. I hate to select players for wrong reasons, Bowler who can bat and vise versa.Irfan primary role is a bowler and he should prove himself as bowler to get a place and all the cry of state politics is waste. He should get entry by HIGHWAY (i.e performing) not because someone else failed. His current bowling form makes him a ordinary bowler even at state level team.Sorry Irfan
