nehra's comeback to indian team is a big flop.he continues to give away lot of runs in crucial overs, as he always used to do.and harbhajan the highly rated player by few indian commentators bowled 20 overs in this tournament, and he is unable to pick even one wicket.still these guys are regarded are regarded as strike bowlers for the next year worldcup.

All hype about the players are only commentators/crics creation. on a particular day in T20 games which is mind game the well compose player will rise above the pressure and excell in the game formate. The woes of Indian cricketer is the money fame they got during the IPL still were still in their mind. Before playing such a crucial ties their mental fitness has to be tuned. The excuses obout the fatigue are baseless. Any human being given a rest of two days recoupe his full strength. Now Dhoni and company should learn the professional attitude and if they excuse for over cricket the management shuold shunt them for atleast two forthcomming series to regain their fitness and a fitness camp/test should be compusory before selecting them for any international competion.

I done agree that excessive demand of cricket is the reason for premature exit from wc.Our batemen failed to counter the short fall and lost too many wickets upfront. They simply shows lack of application & paid the price for it.

Wow mr. dhoni u r great indian t2o captain. It was t20 2007 who send u on sky and it is t20 2010 which will send u on floor. Beware and improve your batting before you loose your captaincy. If u cant make 50 in last 5 overs in t 20, then u should b ashame of yourself

Guys understand sport before you comment..this is not a fault of the crickters and is natural as the IPL is giving us what we want..the crickters are now professionals..so please dont get all emotional and sound silly..you are the same guys that will dance again net year at the sight of the IPL its natural happening in football as well...

i think we should not blame the players but the administrators. wont we go for money if we are handed it over on a platter...modi is singly responsible for two losses as we are not fitness buffs like the australians or west indians etc.

Where is this money coming from???We enjoy the IPL, so understand this is whant the people want and not sport..look at the viewership of the IPL..why blame the players, they are trying thier best and the schedule is difficult so who's to blame IPL,Crickters or YOU.

only team play for money not for contry
by Rajiv Kurekar on May 12, 2010 05:50 PM  | Hide replies

looks like something has gone wrong with the team and they don't care for loosing because they are getting enough ( specifically more ) money in their pockets and they take this casually no respect for the country. IPL has to be banned.

There can be no excuse for the players. They are tired by standing before the camera for advertisement shooting and some of them concentrate only for this show. Old players like Yuvraj, Pathan and Zaheer Khan should be asked to retire and young blood inducted in the team.
