Aussies and Srilanka will make it to semifinals ....... hopeless for India and west Indies as WI Cannot hope of winning against Australia..........
I think the top dogs of this tournament are Australia and England and wouldn't it be lovely to see England lift the ICC T20 WC 2010

Still i feel .. If WI Losses to AUS by big margines... IND win over SRI with good margine ... AUS & IND will qualify...... a little hope.....

indians dont deserve 2 be in semis dude.even if they qualify also other teams wil cash in same weak point of short balls .so its better 2 support other teams like srilanka n windies 2 qualify as ind dont have firepower2 win wc
However, if Sri Lanka beats India and West Indies loses to Australia then it will come down to the net run rate to decide the second team and this is a position where Chris Gayle's men would not want to see themselves in.
If SL beat India they become 4 and WI loss to australia WI will be 2 only, where come the NRR comes into play?

I guess the writer was in a hurry to write the article. If india defeats Sri lanka and WI looses to Oz then NRR will come into play. In that scenario Aussies will hv 3 wins and remaining three teams with one win each. I think Sri lanka will move because they will hv better run rate in that case.

no the writer was not in hurry west indies has beaten england in the prelims ,both the teams have qualified for super 8s, so WIs carry 2 pts from the prelims stage and come into the super 8's

and SL has lost to NZ so they dont carry any points from the prelims to super 8's

You just woke up Rahul? ICC has changed rules while you were sleeping. Now teams dont carry points in to super 8. Sorry though you did a good analysis.
