In 4 team group, a team with one win can also finish in 2nd place on NRR if one of the 4 teams wins all 3 and the others tie with 1 win each. Same way winning 2 matches does not mean automatic qualification, as one team can end up losing all matches and the others can tie with 2 wins each. These are just the basic understanding needed for all reporters. Our reporters always make this mistake and often write "Pakistan out of world cup" etc to grab attention and then they will end up winning the cup.

If Eng ends up with 3 wins, if Pak wins today, they can also expect to qualify. So the chance for Pak depends on their win as well as Eng's. Whereas if NZ and Eng win, still one of the teams with 2 wins will be out.
Still Pakistan in the T20 battle. they are not out of T20 now. Because suppose if Pakistan beat South Africa by gud margin and England beat NewZealand then based on NRR, Pakistan have a chance to move ahead to retain the trophy once again
