well simple maths would tell u that for 192 in 20 overs west indies had to score at a rate of slightly less than 10 runs per over and to reach 60 in six overs the asking rate was exactly 10 runs per over...so basically england did get the better deal..they just lost..so why so much hue and cry about this tell them to shut up and get on with the game
Why can't match be replayed the next day and be continued. In Football or Tennis we don't see this kind of approach .If cricket has to become a global sport we need to avoid this stupid DL method for T20

FYI, in football the match will continue even if it's rains unless there is a lightning. So don't confuse and get confused.
I think that it should be avg of MPO and avg rate of total innig. so in the case of WI it should have been 67 (avg ot 5 overs 17 avg ot toal inn 9.55)= total applicable rr 13.275 i.e 67 in 5 over that is not a bad competion.
The MPO method will take away the credit from the bowlers. If suppose a bowler has bowled a maiden or a wicket maidan that will get discarded. The ideal way will be to come back the next day and finish the game. That will keep it simple and fair.

MPO is rather stupid..if a team scores 140 out of which 85runs were scored in last 5 overs and suppose these were the peakmost overs and now if it rains,MPO will ask the team batting second to score 85 of 5 overs..which is absolutely wrong. It doesnot take into account the first 15 overs which were scored poorly. .i dont think MPO is any way close to become a good replacement for duckward...

To even out the advantage of batting second, it should be the average (rounded to next 1) / over of the team batted first should be taken to arrive the number of runs to be scored based on the number of overs available for the team batting second.
Eg team battered first scores 163 in 20 overs.
163 / 20 = 8.15 = 9.00
and team batting second have only 7 overs of play, then they should score 7 * 9 = 63 1 = 64 to win.
