Mohammad Yousuf really did not have a choice at this juncture. PCB had created circumstances such that he could do nothing but retire. He is right when he says he always gave his best for his country. He was a fine asthetic player, who really gave everything for his country, including his religion of his forefathers, but original Muslims it seems are more equal than converted ones in Pakistan.

the biggest mistake yousuf did is he accepted the captaincy .leading pakistani team is like leading bunch of wild animals and he paid the price for accepting it.
This dude has quit so many times that we have lost track. Instead of sticking around and fighting it out to prove everyone wrong, this dude quits and thinks all this problems will be solved. He did not have leadership skills during his short tenure as captain but should have learnt from his failures to toughen up during tough times. He has all signs of being a LOSER!
There is no respect for minorities in theocratic and jihadi Pakistan .Even if you have converted u r not eaqual to true jihadi muslim.Yousuf has even gone to the extent that islam has given him peace now enjoy peace or if you want real peace and fairness junk the relgion full of lies and violence . There can not be any normalacy in Pak as they strive for struggle (jiahd )in every aspect of life .Justice fairplay and tolerance is some thing alien which reflects in players

Sonia, first of all get your facts right, before commenting. Yousuf was not forced to convert to Islam and he did out of his own free will and not become the captain; and from where did you get the notion that Tableeghi Jamaat has Fidayeens in its ranks. Have your ever attended any meeting of the Jamaat or you are also depending on second hand biased information from vested sources ? Please do not spread hatred by such disinformation.

hey whats wrong with you? its nly after learning about pizzlam that one really starts htting it. i guess you need some education.
Yousuf lost all he had when he gave up on his belief for benefits. The same board which 'showed' him favour has sacked him alas !! He would have been better if his belief and values were intact but sadly that also has gone. Its not too late yousuf.. to turn back. Hope you get to read this !
