Most Valued IPL Player - Where's Warner???

It's amazing they have missed such an obvious choice, who is putting even Sehwag to shade these days.

That shows how gimmicky these lists are actually. Anything goes, it seems, as long as it tries to milk the popularity of (and addiction to) cricket content. Maybe, they should also compile lists on the best returns on investment, and another one for the worst/least returns on investment (for the said latter list, the likes of Ishant Sharma, VVS Laxman, Jayasuriya, Sangakkara, Mahela, Sangwan, Saha, Tare, et al, will qualify, I suppose. And how about lists for most popular, most irrirating, most insightful, most knowledgeable, most pretentious, most annoying, most boring commentators, writers, journalists, viewers, readers, suckers??? The fact that YOU are reading this post itself is testament to the fact that YOU have nothing better to do in life than read any crap about cricket in particular and anything in general. Worse, YOU may want to even react and add your own views to the ever-expanding pile of Internet garbage that is full of filth called persona views. SUCKERS!

I agree, Dhoni was feeling fire being burnt in his stomach when yusuf started becoming popular. All Dhoni could do was to minimize the chance for yusuf to the maximum when yusuf plays in ODIs and T20s, so that he could be dropped. Yusuf never batted before 5th down in ODIs so far and the same in T20s.

Unless he is on the axe, he doesnt perform. Once he is on the axe he performs the best and makes his doubter look like fools. KKR management must be already sick of him.

who cares for the world cup...the matches will be played in windies and will start at say 0200 Hrs in morning...so viewership will be the least...even the die hard cricket fans like me will not watch matches at so late in night...it hardly matters if india wins or lose...the wc will be a big flop...only if india reaches final one will think twice whether to watch or not

we cannot win this world cup

The number 8 player in the list does not even figure in the 30 shortlist for IPL world cup.

The reason he is unfit!!!!

He played all 6 matches without a problem...

and Yuvraj / Nehra etc all make the team when they are sitting on their a** nursing injuries...

We can never be a wolrd-beating team like Australia for this same reason...we are divided in zones and regions and favourite...

Defeintely less oppurtunities than Schewag, Yuvaraj, and others would have got,
he saved a test for Indiaand won the man of the match in his last 3 tests but still not in the test squad, reason , Injury, - lame excuse to avoid him,
This will be there always in Indian cricket

Most of the Indian fast bowlers are useless in t20(Ishant,Sreesanth,RP...) but atleast Irfan can make some runs. Regardless of his final selection in the world cup team he should have been atleast in the list of 30 probables

Dudes, no worries. When they selected 30 probables, Irfan was injured and that is the reason Srikanth pointed out saying he was not considered. Irfan will be back for the subsequent T20 squad, until Dhoni is not jelous of pathan brothers.

See how CSK getting in to worse the same will happen for Team India once Dhoni in team, we have so many other guys should try for captaincy if Dhoni can try all stupidity with selection and make a player like Irfan not been selected.

But why you have put Kallis on second spot inspite of him having lowest strike rate among the best???????

In limited overs most important part is strike rate.

Ohhh Sorry. Rediff stats are always unreliable and deliberate. Like you always say Bradman is greatest inspite of no one recognizing it.

DOnt know about redif...but yes Bradman is the greatest.....

Even Sachin will endorse that...

It is just that he has played in a different era...with his skill he would have done wonders in todays times....his stats and performances speak for themselves.

No doubt Sachin is a close second...more for his consistency and for lasting so long...
