Sachin Tendulkar

Sachin has hit one six in this tournament and they are on top of all the teams. Interestingly, he hit the six no#200 in the tournament. He has something to do with 200.
Truly a legend. No sixes and no slogging. Just pure technique, timing and batting. Living legend.

Bloody MVP is like baalKiKhaal

Like the bloody averages, which are meant to twist the facts. Look at the strike rate of kallis, lowest among the best.

only f00ls would doubt the quality of a player with the stature of Kallis. He is among the best allrounders in tests and ODIs that the world has ever seen; up there along with the Bothams and the Hadlees and the Imran Khans and the Kapil Devs. He showed a spark of his t20 intelligence in the last edition of IPL and it was only time he displayed the rest in this edition. Do not rate crass ahead of class. Yussuf is nothing when compared to Kallis

by puneet GERA on Mar 27, 2010 03:11 PM

dhoni, yuvraj, rohit sharma, harbhajan far below in the ranking.I don't know how they deserve to be in ODI INDIAN TEAM.After becoming captain, dhoni has lost the rythm that he is capable of.He otherwise was an excellent class player with very high strike rate. All the best to dhoni, may he gain his true potential soon.May be its lots of cricket for yuvi and harbhajan. But rohit sharma is good player,he needs to improve day by day

Players with low PVI offer better value to the franchise owner....I don't get that statement....

PVI is the total money paid divided by total 'runs' contributed. PVI is low if you pay less or contribute more runs or both. That's what the franchise owner wants.

It is amazing how Bhaji has carried on for all these years! Somebody should study his horoscope ! He has been very lucky to earn millions without any substantial talent!

On the tp of it, his temperament is also volatile. When he needs to stay at one end to give support to a main Baaman during crisis, he tries to hit and gets out. As far as Bowling is concerned, if I bowl 40 overs in each innings, att he end I will also get few wickets. But like in other walks of life in India-Godfather rule works in Cricket also
