I hope he his the right person to be bowling in upcoming T20 World cup and his pace variations are going to help India very much. He his also a good lower-order batsman and good outfielder.
Common vinay make the most of your chance..don't loose your concentration in the media glitz
Hard work always deserves better and best hope he will contribute his best in 20-20 2010 in West Indies & bring more laurels for Davanagere particularly karnataka state
...I think that pacers like Mithun, Vinay, Dinda must be groomed and given more international chances to play (and not warm the bench). How long will be keep relying on the old rusted guns like Zaheer and Nehra. And why is Irfan pathan is being sidelined. India has no derth of good pace bowlers. Its just that they are being ignored thanks to money making policies of BCCI and IPL. You are killing the future of Indian cricket!!
As we all knowa...there is very less chance to get chance for playing 11....then next time selectors will select some one else...Mithun also a good talent but no opportuniies...all the best ...
Vinay Kumar is a very good bowler. The delivery which took Tendulkar's leg stump is no fluke. He worked on his bowling very well. Congrats to him and i wish him all the best.
This message does not make any sense for this article but still i would like to post it. Today Sachin (55.56) overtakes Ponting (55.45) in test match average.

with 120 and 130 km speed this poor fellow hopes bright future as pacer. Hw is not even recognised as military medium pace. He will be another pathan who is having nagging length and line but no pace. Our senior players have spoiled his career by advising him to curtail pace and concentrate on line and length. These poor pacers are not at all comparable with styn and tait.

why? He truly deserve this chance. He does not have much pace but looks like clever bowler. Otherwise, once people study him he can go into oblivion like Yoginder.

Seriously deserves place in the team. He always gives 100% committment in all the matches, unlike guys like Zaheer, PK who are very lazy fielders. He has a wicket taking knack as well. Go Vinay kumar Go.
