Re: By Luck! by ajay d on Mar 26, 2010 10:18 AM Ya,it's ill luck why Chennai,Punjab,Rajasthan and Kolkata are languishing in the bottom four despite having high standard and extremely talented players. It's only because of luck that RCB made it to the final of IPL 2 and have won 4 out 6 this season despite picking up players like Kallis,Dravid,Kohli,Steyn from the gullies who do not even know how to handle a bat and bowl a ball. Stop acting like a case of sour grapes,on paper somebody might look great but ultimately how they play on the field that matters. They played well under Kumble last season and reached the final,have played well to win 4 out of 6 this season while they were outplayed yesterday and in the 1st game. Stop whining about luck,whoever plays well will do well. Also,one good innings and jadhav should be in the national team,no word on Manish who has played well consistently not only in IPL but also the domestic season. Re: By Luck! by EDGE on Mar 26, 2010 10:10 AM Players like Dravid and Morgon were run out yesterday and Uthappa was out for a wrong shot(he was stupid to play that shot yesterday)..if they had played normal cricket yesterday then DD would have been crying whole night yesterday.... Ask the DD guys,they would prefer a final appearence once to 2 semi final appearences. IPL 3 is a long way to go still,every team still has to play anywhere between 8 to 10 matches. Re: Re: Re: Re: Kuan hai? by ASHISH KUMAR on Mar 26, 2010 05:04 PM Every team has got players from other cities- DD- Nagar(Mah),Jadhav (Mah), Kartik(TN) etc KKR- Murli kartik(TN), Agarkar(Mum), ishant(delhi) etc CSK- dhobi(bihar), raina(UP),Goney(punjab) KXIP- Powar(mum), Sreeshant(kerla), pathan(Guj) etc MI- Dhawan(del), bhajji(Pun) etc RR- Pathan(guj),trivedi(Guj),jadeja(guj, Munaf(Guj) etc DC- RP(UP), Rohit(Mum) etc RCB- Kohli(delhi) etc. So its even for all. What matters is which city u are representing & how smart is the mangement to pick right players. Fact is mumbai, banglore , hyderabad are great city- doing well in IPL also.
