The Chairman of the selectors Kris Srikant has failed to recognise Robin Uthappa as one of his own type - impulsive, hard hitting, good fielder & one who can turn a match on its head. Afterall it was Srikant who was the highest scorer in the 1983 world cup final. Also it would have put pressure on the four specialist batsmen whose place in the playing eleven is assured barring injuries/ bans. Nothing better could have been done in the bowling department which is the best but still weak. Best of luck to the team!

Inspite of carrying so many talents the selectors have placed their hopes on some pathetic players. Kris Srikkanth was perhaps finding ways out for his CSK team to the semis atleast cos having seen so many talents why has he gone for the regular guys more so when he knows that few are not even performing upto the mark. Its a shame that talents such as Saurabh Tiwari,Manish Pandey,Shikar Dhawan,M.Bisla,Utthappa etc are going to sit out. Sure shot the selectors would be blamed for any debacle.
