Why we always against Change?
by AK UR on May 17, 2010 07:34 PM

sachins idea is really brilliant and definitely add more fun to one day cricket. Compared to 20/20 ,one dayers seems to be mostly one sided and boring. When was the last time you saw an exciting one dayer? we indians are soo hesitant for any change but the moment the idea is accepted in the west,we will blindly follow it .Here BCCI should hv implemented this idea first...

I don't know if you are praising or insulting Sachin.

Btw, did Gavaskar's son achieve even one-hundredth of what Sunil Gavaskar achieved?

Anyways, Sachin suggested that a 50 over match is split into two halves, 25 over each. A player's chance of making 200 plus would only increase if he gets a break after 25 overs but not decrease.

There is no logic in your comment. Poor post.

I know hes been talking about this for over a year but his opinion matters more nowthat he has scored that 200,he never wants anyone to break any of his ODI records so this new format will ensure that

seems like your brain is eaten by porkis and what you have inside your head is just s.h.i.t

He made 200 this year and also as long as he is fit to play and winning matches for india, why should he stop playing? Steve Waugh retired at 38, so is Brian Lara and many others retired at 40... just because he started playing at the age of 16 and has played for 21 years doesnt mean that he should retire..Youngsters should learn from him and should follow his passion and commitment to the game..
