it will be in the interest of indian T20 team that only those players who are in their supreme form are considered for the playing team. Robin uttapa is in a devasting T 20 form it will be unfortunate to ignore him. like wise sourabh tiwary can not be ignored for his consitency as well fast scoring rate.
the ideal team must include the five
sehvag , Robin, Yusufkhan, tiwary , dhoni and other two bats could be from gambhir, raina and yuvraj. even all three could be included as specialist spinner job will be taken care by yusuf, yuvraj and sehvag trio.
as fast bowler only zahir is one . other two could be any one of the available . all they are weak link in the indian team

Robin Uttapa made the same calculated move before the team was selected for 2007 world cup .In one or two matches before the selection of the world cup 2007 squad he palyed a dashing innings and was selected and finnaly failed miserably in the WC2007 .Yes the entire team performed badly in 2007 WC. Same approach adopted here by the same palyer
If the frontline players are injured there are backup players who r as good as anyone.Let them get a chance. But srikanth should stop biasing players on region and select them on merit.
not even half way thru the IPL the injury list is getting longer by the day.. so by the time the world cup comes we shall have a second grade team and tired survivors from the IPL. There is absolutely no chance in the worldcup.
IPL is good tournament but should be look at the format, may be they should have two pools and reduce the matches. The Idea should be to make money and give exposure to new talent. and not just make money, money,money.... and reduce carrier of players thru injuries.

Thou not in the probables roping him in will be the wise thing instead of selecting Badri or Vijai for both are not in the same league as uthappa(considering current form alone) .Hope Wisdom prevail against some ulterior motives!DBxPy

Dear Mr. Selector, please dont make st.upid statements like the one u made in blore prior to the match, "support to csk n rcb 50-50 coz blore has many tamilians". what logic is this? im a tamilian so r my friends but we will support rcb coz its our home side. dont come with such statements and create a wrong impression.

why the hell the 30 man squad was selected prior to ipl.This is preventing uthappa,irfan,and saurabh tiwari a chance
SELECTION COMMITTEE SHOULD KEEP OPEN THEIR EYES AND NOTICE THE PERFORMANCE OF THE PLAYER PERFORMING WELL IN IPLT20, INSTEAD OF SELECTING OUT OF FORM OVER HYPED PLAYERS. SELECTORS SHOULD GIVE PLENTY OF TIME TO THESE OVER HYPED PLAYER TO ATTEND NIGHT PARTIES PROPERLY. SO LET THEM ENJOY THE PARTIES AND SELECT THOSE PLAYER WHO IS SINCERE TO THE GAME AND PERFORMING WELL.
