His own bowling, bowling changes & field placement are handled with intelligence and grit.
Kumble an Enginner by education is showing the world why he is a bowler of international class.He is using his height to good effect to get bounce from the pitch but his line and length is spot on more often than not.He is the most economical bowler in this IPL also arguably the best captain till now.
A perfect gentleman.Pride for any team he represents.Hope RCB gets the IPL3 cup under Kumble!!
considesring that it includes players such as Ashwin, Naman Ojha, Jadeja, Saha, Mithun, Nayar, Munaf Patel, M Vijay, Sreesanth some of whom can't even find a place in the IPL playing XI.

True - others except Jadeja and Nayar should not have been there (especially, Sreesanth, Vijay and Munaf), but Robin does not deserve a place too, he is way too inconsistent. I love his game when he gets going, hope he shows some consistency to come back into the reckoning.
I think Pun kings 11 can make to semis esp bcos chennai and delhi have dropped in performance. Punjabs are one team that havent changed their team for last 3 years. They have very good balance and afford to play 2 full time spinners. With Marsh and Lee coming in u never know.

Competition is still wide open and it is difficult to say anything before the second round of matches starts.
Very clear CSK is badly missing Dhoni's presence and leadership in the team. He knows how to marshal his limited resources effect-ively. But nothing takes away RCB's credit & glory in playing much better.
