changes in one day cricket
by Suresh gupta on Mar 22, 2010 05:10 PM

as suggested by WAUGH some changes are required in one day cricket format. one could be like power play (1) if bowling side restrict the batting side between 21-25 overs or 26-30 overs to not more than4 per over or total not more than 15 in these 5 overs a further deduction of 10 runs would be made from battingside scorecard. similarely if batting side score more than 8 per over between 31-35 overs or 36-40 or total score in these 5 overs is more than 50 than 10 runs would be added to batting side scorecard

he was never any player worth his salt in the first place, leave alone good player. Kris srikkanth and saurav ganguly are two hyped up cricketers of this country.

That's rubbish. I have never been his fan until recently, but I'll admit he was a good player. Any player with more than 10 Test centuries and 20 ODI centuries has to be good. They don't come if you aren't good.

EPL players earns US$ 50million - 100 million per year.
by Loga on Mar 22, 2010 11:04 AM  | Hide replies

Ticket cost and Players earnings of IPL is nothing if compare to EPL or BPL football team and Players.
Ticket cost of the English Premier League or European Premier League or Barkley Premier League is 1500 pound means Rs100000 per ticket. IPL tickets cost is nothing in front of it.
EPL players earns US$ 50million - 100 million per year. And IPL Players less then US$ 1 million per year no comparison.

Is 1500 pounds for one match or a season ticket. I am also not sure if one player earns 50-100 million. If my memory is correct Cristano Ronaldo earns around 10 million USD per season from Real Madrid and of course earns money from endorsements. Last year Tiger Woods earned around 100 million USD to top the rich sports persons list

50-100 mill a year? Are you on crack son?? Stop making up these silly salaries. An EPL player makes around 10mill a year plus sponsorship. Top flight footballers make around 100k a week, so do the math. I dont think that adds upt to 50mill. As for the IPL players, they are just playing for six weeks and some players are makin a million - so do the math if they are playing the whole season.

Epl player contract price is for 3 to 5 years, while ipl player it is for just 45 to 60 days. If ipl grows bigger and player play for a whole year, the amt paid will be more than epl
