Absolutely.... Ponting clearly was at fault as he failed to ensure that the cameras were functioning.... he should be banned immediately for life... ;-)
No umpire is required as long as Ponting as there. When we bow down to every whim and fancy of a Australian or American, why not accept his decision as final? What's so different from day to day dealings?

If this happened to Dhoni, we would surely have screamed "racism".... :) How come the cameras work when decisions are appealed against us, but are not working when we are appealing? :)
