This silly game of cricket is back again after the exciting WC Hockey series. It is the creation of the media coz no other game can give coverage of 8-10 hours non-stop every day. The govt also encourages coz it diverts the minds of the masses from the major deficiencies of the govt such as price rise, corruption, unemployment,murder, rape and naxalism which are beyond the control of govt's law & order machinery. So, everyone is happy except that cricket sounds the death knell of the real sports and athletics activities in India. Kirket, Jai Ho!
The tournament is at a crucial stage as all teams have lost at least one match and PunjabXI are the only ones left to taste a victory. All old stalwarts like Symonds, Gilchrist, Tendulkar, Kumble, Vaas, Murlidharan, Hayden ar playing great including Dravid with his supewrb fileding at this age. Any body can win the tournament at this stage though the chances of Punjab XI and Rajasthan Royals look bleak.

long way to go..only one half of it is finished...another week to 10 days, before the real picture comes out.. Deccan Chargers are the Best!

It is hard how u cannot see RCB in the semis, currently the strongest of the teams....Delhi inspite of everyone shouting on the top of their lungs from 2 seasons, that "they are the strongest, they will win, they are the favourites", have performed anywher near the hype they get all the time..
