Rather than saying Lee did not stayed back due to security concerns they are saying returned. It is unneccery to create misconception about Indian security.

Wolf said grapes are sour

Wolf tried to reach the grapes in the vine but despite jumping and leaping hard, it couldn't. Unable to digest the failure, wolf went away, declaring that the grapes were sour!

Lee has a young child in Sydney and his medical specialists are all located there. Why would you want to hang around in a hotel when you can be at home getting the best possible care.

The only thing you can expect back from Australia is 600,000 of your countryman. We can now get taxi drivers and cleaners from China. They smell much better and don't kill each other and then blame innocent Australians.

KXIP team should ask him to stay back in Australia!
by bimlesh mishra on Mar 19, 2010 01:25 PM  | Hide replies

Mr Lee if you are so worried, why do you want to ever comeback? Did security not bother you when you come here for trips related to your ads or the sponsors?

He can play in India and keep traveling around, but he finds Chandigarh to be unsafe? Nonsense!

Lalit Modi should sack him from IPL and ban him from any further particiaption for his hypocritic double standards.

hahahah. India is more safer..that is why the 1st string Aussies and Kiwis playing Test match and not IPL.. what does it imply... ?? IPL is a flop without top 3 teams out of just 8 cricket playing countries are not playing... Even Hockey is much more competitive.. and a 8th place finish for India is equal to Semi Final in World cup Cricket

which mate.. last series was drawn 1-1.. so no one won.. and they played without their main bowlers.. whereas India had a full strenght side..And the one day victory.. it is once in century.. win again and again like them and then talk..

Boss, you are forgetting something. The last 2 seasons of the IPL are won by australia. Warne captained the RRC where as Gilli captained the DC. Our stupid Indian captains were just barking and nothing. Bravo Aussies.

Australia's players tried their luck in the first IPL but most of them failed (Ponting, M Hussey, Clark) and somehow they are not able to adjust with the T20 cricket. Austrlia was not able to reach in the final of both T20 WC. So they decided not to play in IPL and show the world that they are a failure in T20 and at the same time they are showing as if they are doing a sacrifice for their country. They all are hypocrats, doesnt deserve a place in IPL

@ Bruno Thats why Symonds, Gilly and Hyden and also Brett Lee decide to retire from the test cricket and play in IPL.
I think before you make your comments please read once again the comments made by these australians when they wanted to play in IPL.
IPL has many Australian players who are not selected in their national team, they have decided to play for IPL rather than to wait for the national team. Because IPL gives more money in less time and Cricket Australia gives peanuts to the monkeys playing in the national team

@ Bruno - You like it or not your Australian players have been sold to IPL for the cheap money. Some have got the opportunity and some have not. Those who have not got the opportunity are crying and making the show of security

Unfair
by Yash Bhatnagar on Mar 19, 2010 12:26 PM  | Hide replies

I think it is very unfair that India gets portrayed as a security risk at people's own convenience. It is okay to play IPL and earn millions in front of thousands of people, get exposure through Bollywood, get endorsements - but hey too scared to stay and wait for the elbow to heal. Not only that, but make announcements about feeling unsafe in India. How ungrateful and hypocritical is this.

Is India soo safe ? And why should Lee be grateful to India .. ?? Indians are the biggest hypocrates... If India looses than the opposite team has cheated and umpires favored them.. if they win then India has won fair and no cheating or match fixing is involved.. rite Yash ??

@Bruno - where did the matchfixing topic come up. If Binga wants to make money - being in India is not a problem. 2003 WC when he had an ankle injury he spent in India making money via endorsements. Least he can do his not portray India as unsafe.....because if he really believed India was unsafe - he should not be here. I am only commenting on his hypocrisy - not whether his fears are well founded or not. He has made a lot of money in India through endorsements and people have opened their hearts and treated him with a lot of respect and affection. That is what he should be grateful for.
