Shaw once commented 11 fools ae playing and 11000 fools are watching! But now, it may be 11 crores or even more. How many man hours are wasted, how much money is pumped out from our pockets! Is it really worth to waste our money and time and health(?) in such mirages? Crores of money goes to the kitty of the team owners, officials, players, all herefrom? can we afford of such a luxury?

Dear Lone rider, I am a fool, I agree. hen the whole Nation mourns the death of 76 bravemen due to Naxals maime, I comment upon the IPL business. Whene 30% of our population do not have anythng for eating tonight, I am commenting this glorious IPL unnecessarily. 30% of Indianswho are assured of their dinner tonight can spare a few hundreds of Rs and about 8 hous a day(2 matches) our Nation's goal of self reliance/ superpower/ et al are achieved. @ Ramasamy... dont worry, you not alone. I am with you. IPL is grat idea, but the money and time invested in IPL is total hype. India should focus on other games too, there are many games which are not even considered in India. Why only circket so much? Can India beat China or US in Olympic? Other than sports, we need think about eduction, infrastrucutre, etc in India. After achieving all these, if you run behind IPL then it's OK.
